6 Ingredient Banana Bliss Balls


Bliss Balls are the perfect bit-size snack.

This is a match made in bliss ball heaven - banana, honey and peanut butter.** With a couple of extra ingredients you'll believe that every ball is a beautiful slice of banana bread.


Bliss Balls are HUGELY popular in Aussie kids lunchboxes. They are the perfect bit-size snack, they look like the kids are getting a huge treat (so they love them), and they are super easy to make, so it's a win for parents as well!


**If your school does not allow peanut butter, major supermarkets have a nut-free peanut butter on the shelf which is a wonderful substitute!


Prep 45 min (Including setting time in the fridge!)


INGREDIENTS

2 ripe bananas

1 cup oats

1 tbs peanut butter

1 tbs honey

½ cup desiccated coconut (plus extra to roll)

¼ cup mixed black and white chia seeds


THERMOMIX METHOD

  1. Place the bananas, oats, peanut butter, honey and ½ cup coconut into the bowl and mix for 10sec/sp6, then scrape down the sides and repeat until the mixture is well formed.

  2. Mix together the additional coconut and chia seeds.

  3. Using a teaspoon roll mix into balls and coat in the coconut and chia seed mix. Repeat until all the mixture has been used.

  4. Set in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Non-THERMOMIX METHOD

  1. Place the bananas in a food processor and pulse until smooth.

  2. Add the oats, peanut butter, honey and ½ cup coconut and pulse until the mixture is formed.

  3. Mix together the additional coconut and chia seeds.

  4. Using a teaspoon roll mix into balls and coat in the coconut and chia seed mix. Repeat until all the mixture has been used.

  5. Set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
