Prep 20 min // Cook 45 min
Either a whole leg of ham or half leg ham
Orange marmalade (I use homemade to avoid preservatives but store bought is fine)
3-4 Oranges sliced thin
1-2 cups White wine (I use a Sauvignon Blanc)
Whole cloves (I use one for each orange slice)
Toothpicks to secure the orange
Preheat oven to 120oC.
With a sharp knife carefully remove the rind from the ham and place aside.
Carefully trim away the white fat from the ham.
Place ham in a roasting dish.
Smother the ham in orange marmalade.
Place sliced orange over the entire ham and secure the clove to the orange with a toothpick.
Pour wine slowly over the top of the ham.
Bake for approximately 45 min.
Remove the toothpicks, slice the ham and arrange on platter.
