Prep time 15 min // Cooking time 15 min
INGREDIENTS
500g of lean mince
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 onion diced
Handful of continental parsley diced
1.5 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
1.5 teaspoon of wortershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Tablespoon mixed fresh herbs of your choice (or dried if preferred
6 burger buns (homemade recipe is located on this site)
1 egg beaten (optional)
TOPPINGS
Any toppings you like but our family loves burgers with:
• Fried onions
• Bacon
• Cheese
• Lettuce
• Chilli Jam (Recipe coming soon to this website)
METHOD
Place mince in bowl and add all ingredients. Gently combine the ingredients into the mince and egg if using. Remember the less you work the mince the more tender the burger will be!!!
Shape gently into 6 burgers.
Oil a frying pan, BBQ plate or grill and place burgers on plate.
Burgers should take 5-6 minutes per side to be cooked through or using a meat thermometer should read 160 degrees.
Try and avoid pressing the burgers down with a spatula it will make the juices run out of the burger and you will be left with a dry tough burger
Remove from heat when finished and place on a warm roll and top with your favourite toppings!
