Perfect Pancakes


Straight off the pan and onto our breakfast table!

Easter is coming up this weekend and one thing we love to do on Easter Sunday is get together and have a big breakfast together. We all know Easter Sunday morning is all about the kids and their excitement especially searching for anything the bunny might have left for them.

Without doubt my duos favourite breakfast is pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream! This recipe I found in my Nana's recipe collection. They are big, fluffy and as good if not better than any cafe with the added bonus that you dont have to get dressed on a Sunday morning!


So I am sure you can all imagine what my family will be eating this Sunday morning. From my family to yours have a eggcellent Easter and we hope you remain safe and healthy!


Prep 5 min // Cook 10 min


INGREDIENTS

3 cups plain flour

7 tsp baking powder

2 tsp salt

2 tbs sugar

2 1/2 cups milk

2 eggs

6 tbs melted butter

2 tsp vanilla

Extra butter for cooking


METHOD

  1. Melt butter in microwave and set aside.

  2. Add all dry ingredients into a bowl and make a well in the center.

  3. Add butter and all wet ingredients into the bowl and stir well until combined.

  4. Heat knob butter in a pan and when hot add pancake mixture to the pan.

  5. When the batter starts to bubble flip over and cook the over side and remove from the pan and keep warm.

  6. Repeat until all batter is used.

  7. Top with your favourite pancake toppings!


Note - This recipe will make approximately 10-12 large pancakes. Halve the measurements if you need less!
